Elgin Market days
The Elgin Market Days was created in Elgin Memorial Park for Bastrop County citizens and surrounding cities to have a location where they could sell their gently used and collectible wares. Originated as a community event by the New Century Club, a benevolent women's club which funded many worthy causes, it was eventually offered to a local church to maintain. In time, the church declined to continue hosting the event. Coordinator Aletha Krebs has worked with both the club and church and continues to sponsor the event the first Saturday of the month, February - November. Our booth locations are nestled in the trees where you can bring your own tables and set up from 7 am until 5 pm for one low fee. For more info call: Aletha Krebs at 512-285-4025 and visit us at www.basconet.com.
